ESL Classes in Atlanta
We offer personalized and caring lessons, to individuals or small groups. (No classes have more than 6 students.) Men, women, and children, of every level of English enjoy learning English with Bigler ESL.
Business English Classes: Small group or private lessons available. Group classes are mixture of business conversation, pronunciation, and grammar review; private lessons are customized to the needs of the student.
Conversation Classes: Morning and Afternoon group or private lessons focus on conversation, and pertinent grammar and vocabulary review. Private lessons are personalized to the experiences of the learner.
English Classes for Kids: After-school help in general English comprehension (listening, speaking, reading, writing), or specific help with school work. Fun, pre-school lessons help introduce young children to basic English skills. Small group or private lessons available.
Accent Reduction: Liz Bigler is trained in the renowned Compton P-ESL method of “Pronouncing English as a Second Language” Typically a 12 week program, it features a detailed personalized language assessment for each student, so students only work on specific sounds that are problematic for them. We offer an introductory free sample speech evaluation.
Special Lessons & Field Trips for Kids: Past events have included: Easter Egg decorating, trips to public library, tours of local fire stations, trips to magic shows and the Center for Puppetry Arts, “Frozen” singalong at the Fox Theater, tubing on the Chestatee River, holiday parties, and drama camps with sets, props, and costumes, that culminate in live performances for parents and friends.
Special Lessons & Field Trips for Adults: Past events have included: Touring the Fox Theater, Cooking Lessons with world-famous “Chef Nona,” Easter Party, touring Historic Norcross, field trips to local restaurants, cafes, thrift stores, and supermarkets. We also have an annual "Christmas Cookie Exchange Party" for our ladies!
